Core Laboratories Inc
- Direct lobbying governance
Core Laboratories has a defined process to align its indirect lobbying through trade associations with its climate goals, with its "Corporate Global Director Safety & Sustainability" overseeing "both the climate change strategy and participation in trade associations." It ensures that "any standard under development that has Health, Safety or Environmental impacts will be assigned to an expert as the voting member," and conducts "working group meetings, that Core Lab experts participate in, held between standards development committee meetings and before standard development comment and vote ballots occur" so that "all standards are reviewed and commented on by Management and subject experts to ensure our climate change strategy is considered." However, we found no evidence of governance procedures for direct lobbying activities or policies to monitor direct engagement with policymakers.
This assessment is part of the Lobbying Governance Index, covering 8,500 companies scored on whether they have processes to oversee their climate lobbying. See all companies in North America or all companies in United States.
