We closely monitor the debates and publications related to our businesses, contributing our technical expertise to the development of public policies and sector regulations. Our interactions with public authorities and representative institutions are guided by integrity and transparency, with the goal of improving the regulatory framework for the sector. We actively participate in the construction of standards and laws that impact our activities, defending the safety of facilities and the quality of products and services, as well as encouraging investment, innovation and sustainable development. We advocate for a healthy competitive environment, assisting authorities in the fight against fraud and encouraging fair competition for economic and social development. Furthermore, we have contributed to the improvement of the fuel sector through our collaboration with specialized entities that represent it, such as the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas (IBP), the Legal Fuel Institute (ICL) and the National Union of Fuel and Lubricant Distribution Companies (SINDICOM). We recognize the importance of reducing carbon emissions and transitioning to cleaner and renewable energy sources. We support initiatives like adding anhydrous ethanol to gasoline, using biodiesel in diesel engines, and the RenovaBio program. We advocate for public policies and regulations that encourage the development of new technologies, such as carbon market regulation, green diesel oil, and aviation biokerosene, in order to efficiently meet our decarbonization targets. We advocate for the fulfillment of freely concluded contracts as well as the clear definition of roles and responsibilities in the sector, with the goal of promoting equal treatment for all agents performing the same activity. We seek to ensure legal and regulatory certainty, as well as balanced competition, both of which are critical to strengthening the business environment and boosting economic development. We support tax reform that encourages the implementation of monophasia for all fuels as well as the standardization of specific rates (ad rem) across all states. This measure aims to simplify taxation and combat distortions that may exist in the current system. GRI 207-3 It is worth mentioning that Vibra does not make financial contributions or donations of any kind to politicians, in office or not, candidates in electoral disputes and political parties. Our anti-corruption initiatives are monitored and evaluated periodically by the Board of Directors, which, through the Statutory Audit Committee, has an Ethics Channel for receiving and dealing with complaints. In addition, our employees are also notified about our anti-corruption policy and receive training on how to apply it. We provide business partners with the "Good Practice Booklet for Customers, Suppliers and Partners," which includes a specific chapter on combating corruption[1]. [...] In 2021, six cases[2] of corruption were confirmed, with five employees being held accountable, resulting in the dismissal or punishment of three of them[3]. Among the nature of the reported cases were: falsification, destruction, or concealment of documents or information; misuse of company resources; fraud in personnel management tools; favoritism of suppliers, clients or employees; and conflict of interest.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Vibra systematically monitors and analyzes the opportunities for public policies that may impact its activity and proposes them. This process has as main objectives to prepare the company for the policies that are being formulated and also to propose improvements for the improvement of existing public policies. The institutional relationship area is responsible for leading public policy opportunities, including proposals for new legislation and directing such opportunities to areas of the company that have some type of involvement with the subject in question. The consulted areas must express themselves regarding the identified opportunity, indicating the relevance of the topic for the company, whether the area is favorable or contrary to the object of analysis, the risks and opportunities and suggestions for improvement. One of the areas consulted in this process is the ESG, which coordinates the company's climate change strategy. In this way, we ensure that our internal processes that directly or indirectly influence public policies are aligned with Vibra's climate change strategy.
