Flutter Entertainment PLC describes extensive processes to align its sustainability activities with its climate change strategy, such as “reviewing options regarding accreditation and certification on a range of relevant ISO standards including ISO 14001,” beginning an “investigation into appropriate levels and frequency of internal environmental auditing,” and ensuring “Oversight and guidance on all areas of related strategy, activity and output … through our sustainability and environmentally focused committees and working groups.” The Board’s Risk and Sustainability Committee “receives regular updates of progress against goals” and engages with the Audit Committee, while the Group CEO and divisional CEOs hold quarterly meetings with the Group Director of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs. However, we found no evidence of any governance processes or oversight specifically dedicated to direct or indirect lobbying activities, no description of how policy advocacy is monitored or aligned with climate objectives, and no named individual or formal body tasked with reviewing or managing lobbying alignment.
