Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]The Sustainable Development Committee of SinoPac Holdings is chaired by the chairman of the Company and is in charge of managing the risks and impacts of operations of SinoPac Holdings and its subsidiaries on the economy, environment, and society. Aside from the chairperson, there are 6 other Committee members including the president of the Company and the chairman/president of the Company's 100% directly owned subsidiaries so that the strategies and decisions can be formulated/made at the Committee in a comprehensive and efficient manner, and the relevant action plans/measures can be implemented at the group level in an effective way. Five task forces responsible for corporate governance, customer relations, employee welfare, social involvement, and environmental protection are formed under the Committee to develop the respective work plans and reports the work progress every quarter to the Committee for review.
