The ROCKWOOL Group is a strong protagonist of better energy efficiency in buildings and industrial processes. We engage actively with policy makers at EU and national level, responding to consultations, meeting with policy makers, coordinating positions among like-minded businesses and organisations (incl.NGOs) within the energy efficiency and climate area. In the period 2016 -2021 the Group engaged with the EU Commission and members of the European Parliament and Council supporting more ambitious and binding EU targets within energy efficiency, more transparency when modelling impact of increased ambition in energy efficiency and supports a call for more actions to increase the renovation rate and quality across Europe and beyond. The ROCKWOOL Group has also actively supported the EU's agreement for climate-neutrality by 2050.
