We engage with stakeholders on a regular basis through customer and investor meetings and calls, industry and investor conferences, customer service, employee meetings, surveys, portals and hotlines, community outreach programs, and governmental or regulatory interactions.
Our Executive Directors engage with key stakeholders on ESG and sustainability topics, reflecting our commitment at all levels of the organization.
Key topics and questions have been regularly raised with stakeholders during the reporting year. For example, key topics such as market trends, operational excellence, overall business performance, risks related to COVID-19, ESG including climate-related issues, have been raised by our investors and addressed through Annual General Meeting, quarterly conference calls, investor meetings and conferences.
As stated in our Annual Report 2021, we have also committed to reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to achieving the decarbonization goals set by the Paris Agreement.
Our groupwide target is to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 20% by 2030 and aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. This target brings us close to aligning to the 2°C pathway, and we are exploring joining the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) in the next few years to move to a science-based target in the future.
