Governmental climate-change policies and the positions of industry association regarding climate change policies are being watched by our chief sustainability officer and the Sustainable Management and Promotion Department, and the gathered information is reported to the Sustainability Committee and Subcommittee chaired by the company president. Information on various environmental activities in cooperation with the government, including those related to climate change, is also reported to the Sustainability Committee and Subcommittee, the conformity of company policies with government policies is checked, and strategies are changed, or new strategies developed, as necessary. Conformity of Company climate-change strategies with the positions of industry associations is also checked through discussions with associations and reporting to the Sustainability Committee and Subcommittee. When initiatives are taken outside the company, their results are reported to the Sustainability Committee, and the necessity of further actions is discussed.
