AMP supports the democratic process in Australia and engages in evolving policy, political and regulatory dialogues to contribute to better policy outcomes for our customers and stakeholders. AMP does not make direct donations to political parties in Australia. [...] AMP takes a non-partisan approach to participating in various policy development activities hosted by major political parties in Australia, which can include speeches and policy dialogue forums. In 2024, AMP spent approximately $41,140 on these activities. Where required, relevant payments are disclosed through the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) annual return process.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]AMP ensures consistent engagement with industry bodies and partnerships through the Government Affairs and Public Policy team who is responsible for ensuring membership and policy positions are consistent. Memberships are reviewed annually, and the team will veto memberships that are inconsistent with AMP's position, should it warrant such action. Policy positions and memberships are discussed with internal strategy teams, Business unit subject matter experts and the Executive Committee (ExCo) to ensure consistency. AMP Capital's Investment Committee which is responsible for oversight of climate change risks relating to AMP Capital's investment activities reports through to the AMP ExCo via the AMP Capital CEO. Periodic updates are also provided as required to relevant boards (e.g. AMP Capital Holdings, AMP Limited).
