This plan has been reviewed and verified by the SBTi. This plan provides annual targets which guide our climate strategy. This comittment sets climate mitigation targets with the most ambitious aim of the Paris Agreement and to what science dictates is necessary to reduce the destructive impacts of climate change on human society and nature: to reach net-zeroglobal emissions by 2050 at the latest in order tolimit global warming to 1.5°C.
We have also become signatories to The Climate Pledge and the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign, leading coalitions of companies aiming to make a positive climate impact and exceed the goals of the Paris Agreements.
The governance structure for our climate activities is headed by our CEO and Board Chairperson, ensuring that our climate strategy and risks are effectively managed alongside other business decisions. We also focused on sharing information with our colleagues, launching our company-wide climate action group, which has 249 members across the Company, and a further 300+ who actively engage with the content published – webinars, guides and research.
