Frontier Real Estate Investment Corp has established a “Sustainability Committee” chaired by the CEO and supported by a “Sustainability Secretariat” that periodically reports on “Matters related to climate change responses, such as identification and evaluation of the effects of climate change, management of risks and opportunities, progress in adaptation and mitigation initiatives, and setting of metrics and targets”. However, we found no evidence of any governance process for direct or indirect lobbying activities, including no reference to oversight of lobbying, alignment of lobbying with climate or corporate policy, engagement or review of trade or industry association positions, or assignment of responsibility for lobbying alignment. The disclosures focus exclusively on sustainability oversight structures and climate risk management without mention of any lobbying governance framework.
