Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]TWM joined Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative (GeSI)GeSI in 2016 and acted as a board director since 2017 to oversee the Climate Change Committee and participate in the operations of the Industry Responsibility Committee. In 2020, GeSI announced the "Digital With Purpose" (DwP) initiative at the Web Summit, the largest technology event in Europe focusing on creating business value through digital technology. Taiwan Mobile deeply participated in and responded to DwP, and Jamie Lin, the President, specially recorded the initiative film to help promote DwP. On behalf of GeSI, he invited enterprises in Taiwan and Greater China to join in, jointly using digital technology and innovation to make a transformationturn the present around and build a sustainable future.
We also joined European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT) and its Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) in November 2021, in order to communicate with the government and international enterprises, especially in green energy, circular economy and other fields, so as to establish strategic alliances and strengthen cooperation.
Furthermore, TWM's policy of conserving energy and Net Zero commitment is align with the global 1.5 °C target. We are aware that circular economy is one of the critical solution to meet Net Zero. Therefore, TWM hosts the Circular Economy Forum every year since 2019, inviting experts from the industry, government, our suppliers and the academia, to discuss the reduction of the use of raw material, extending and enhancing efficiency. In 2021, the theme of the forum focused on "Recreating new value for ICT resources and smart devices†, industry experts and the government representatives participated to discuss the future and applications of circular economy. TWM shared our circular innovation progress of experimenting with recycled waste fiber optic cables that are linked closely to the telecommunication industry.

TWM will develop climate strategies and move towards achieving net-zero emissions, actively participate in relevant public/associations and advocacy organizations, aligned with the global climate agreement, the Paris Agreement.
