Britvic plays an active role in promoting the growth, development and understanding of our business and the wider industry, and we are proud to work alongside and support a wide variety of relevant trade bodies and associations in our key markets. [...] We seek to contribute proactively to relevant policy consultations and are committed to promoting health, wellness and wellbeing. [...] On behalf of the Executive committee the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) committee oversees the development of Britvic's Healthier People, Healthier Planet strategy and roadmap, ensuring performance and activity align with our ambitions in this area. Meeting quarterly, the ESG Committee reviews the risks and opportunities relating to the sustainable business agenda and non-financial reporting requirements and making recommendations to the Executive team and business units on how to address these. The committee also provides assurance to the Executive team that statutory non-financial reporting requirements are fulfilled and makes recommendations and/or decisions on voluntary company disclosures.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]We engage openly and transparently with governments and political bodies in the markets in which we operate. We do not make donations to, nor receive donations or services from, political parties; however, we do represent our views on the issues that affect our business to political actors, both directly and through relevant industry bodies and trade associations. We will always do so while complying with any relevant laws regulating political activity, and, where appropriate, we submit regular updates to lobbying registers.
Any efforts to influence policy will always be rooted in our business strategy and objectives, including the achievement of our sustainability targets – all communication will fully align with our Healthier Planet Policy and its goals. These policies are regularly reviewed to ensure all communication is aligned to our policy. If any inconsistencies with our policy were found, all communication would stop until inconsistencies were corrected. A full review of how such inconsistencies had arisen would be undertaken within the Corporate Affairs team.
