Skanska's climate strategy is formulated in the Skanska Group Climate Plan, ACT addresses both responsibility and the business opportunity ahead. ACT consists of three building blocks: Awareness, Customer success and Transformation, all contain crucial elements within Skanska's different markets, while also connecting actions and performances on a local as well as global level.
ACT has a mid-term (2030) and a long-term (2045) target. In the Business Plan process, climate targets are settled in key activities to drive and follow up on progress.
All business units have their own climate plans based on market research, industry benchmarks and data analysis. ACT includes all BU's plans and business cases. Skanska's own developed projects, both Commercial Property Development and Residential Development, can have the most impact on emissions in the value chain.
