Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Epson is working with suppliers, local governments, citizens groups and other stakeholders to promote the reduction in GHG emissions in its value chain, with the aim of becoming carbon negative by 2050, and we are aiming for a sustainable and prosperous society. Our employees participate in the industry associations of which we are members (JEITA, etc.), monitor the initiatives/claims of each industry association, and report to our lead department. If the activities of an industry association are deemed to be inconsistent with our strategy (activities in line with the Paris Agreement), we speak up to ensure that they are consistent with our strategy.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]Epson is working with its member industrial associations, regional governments, and other stakeholders to promote the reduction of GHG emissions in its value chain toward achieving carbon minus by 2050.Epson has a system for reporting and confirming the activity policies of member organizations on an annual basis and has a process for determining whether or not to continue membership.
