Describe the board's oversight of climate-related risks and opportunities.|CGI IT UK Ltd operates a two-tier structure consisting of our Sustainability Executive Steering Committee chaired by the UK and Australia President, and our UK and Australia Sustainability Committee and working groups which are overseen by the UK and Australia Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). During 2022, climate-related risks and opportunities were discussed on a regular basis by the TCFD Working Group. In 2023, several additional working groups were established to share knowledge and further inform existing risk management and strategic planning processes, such as the Sustainable Environment Committee and Operational Leadership and Sustainability Committee. All working groups include participants from across the business, including senior stakeholders responsible for facilities and infrastructure management, procurement, and sustainability. All working groups meet monthly to discuss environment, social & governance (ESG) priorities, including climate-related risks. In alignment with the global risk and audit process, both the Sustainable Environment Committee and Operational Leadership and Sustainability Committee are used by the Sustainability Executive Steering Committee to inform CGI IT UK Ltd's strategy, risk assessment processes, risk management policies and procedures, annual budgets and business plans. The Sustainability Executive Steering Committee monitors progress against our climate goals and targets, including the financial performance of our technology solutions and services which also facilitate the transition to a low carbon economy. Describe management's role in assessing and managing climate-related risks and opportunities.|The UK and Australia President, who chairs the UK and Australia Sustainability Executive Steering Committee and is advised by the UK and Australia CSO, is responsible for ensuring that the consideration of climate-related risks and opportunities is included in CGI IT UK Ltd's ongoing strategic planning and risk management cycles. Programme leads are responsible for supporting the President and CSO in identifying and managing CGI IT UK Ltd's net zero strategy. This support includes advising on the scope and severity of climate-related risks and opportunities based on assessments conducted with stakeholders across the business. Identified climate-related issues and opportunities are reported to the CSO who summarises the findings for the Sustainability Executive Steering Committee. Financial performance of the provision of sustainability solutions to clients, as well as the impact of any existing or emerging risks due to the impacts of climate change, are monitored on an ongoing basis by teams within the UK and Australia Strategic Business Unit (SBU) who own the particular risk or opportunity. For further information please refer to the Governance section of this TCFD Report.| [...] ### Governance of climate impacts at CGI IT UK Ltd After the successful formulation of the TCFD Working Group in 2022, CGI IT UK Ltd continues to review and adopt recommendations from various legislations. The TCFD Working Group includes sustainability leads at both UK and Global levels as well as risk management and finance leads. In 2023, two additional working groups, the Environmental Sustainability Committee and the Operational Leadership and Sustainability Committee, were established to share knowledge and further inform existing risk management and strategic planning processes, Both groups are comprised of participants from across all UK and Australia strategic units, internal stakeholders, facilities and infrastructure managers and procurement. Governance committees meet monthly to discuss our ESG priorities. During 2023 the TCFD Working Group informed the process for integrating the TCFD framework and recommendations within the strategic planning process and enterprise risk register for the UK and Australia Strategic Business Unit. CGI IT UK Ltd recognises that our understanding of climate change and its impact is always evolving. We expect that our ESG governance and management practice will continue to change as our understanding of the impacts of climate change on our strategy and operations become more clearly understood. CGI IT UK Ltd's GHG emission reduction targets and decarbonisation roadmap are led by the Environmental Working Group, which is chaired by the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). The targets are approved by the Sustainability Executive Steering Committee.
