n March 2020, we established the Corporate Sustain­ ability department at Dürr AG and in September 2020, we convened a Group-wide Sustainability Council. The task of the new committees is to embed sustainability throughout the Group in order to meet the Group's eco­ nomic, ecological and social responsibilities and to make targeted use of the business opportunities offered by this development. [...] The Group-wide Sustainability Council is the central deci­ sion-making body for sustainability topics in the Dürr Group. It meets every six months, sets the strategy and objectives in the area of sustainability and tracks progress. The Deputy CEO of Dürr AG, Dr. Jochen Weyrauch, chairs the Sustainability Council and has overall responsibility for Corporate Sustainability. The Dürr AG Management Board, the CEOs and CFOs of the divisions as well as those respon­ sible for relevant specialist departments and central Group functions attend the meetings. External experts are con­ sulted on a case-by-case basis.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]Our climate strategy and climate goals are in line with the Paris Climate Agreement and are validated by the SBTi. They contribute to limit warming to 1.5°C. In our engagement activities with different stakeholders and trade associations we present our approach how to develop a feasible but still ambitious climate strategy and necessary measures to achieve targets that are consistent with the 1.5°C goal.
