We are also active members within the Portland Cement Association and are heavily involved in any Federal action on carbon pricing [...] Our engagement with local and national regulators, governments and industry associations ensured that we contributed to issues relevant to our activities and improved our sustainability performance.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]GCC participates and engages with industry leading initiatives on climate change through leadership and collaboration to develop industry roadmaps for carbon neutral cement and concrete.
Our CEO and Board Member is on the Board the Global Cement and Concrete Association. GCCA's Board of Directors are committed to reducing the impacts of cement production, including advancing the industry-wide roadmap for net zero cement and concrete.

The President of GCC America is the Chairman of the Board for PCA and played an integral role in the visionary leadership to develop a carbon neutral roadmap for the industry. Our VP of Sustainability and Environment was one of five Task Group Leaders for PCA's Climate and Sustainability Council, driving PCA member companies commitments to achieving carbon neutrality across the cement and concrete value chain.

GCC has also collaborated with Science Based Targets and other leaders in the industry, participating in working group sessions to align on SBTi's Net Zero Standard and what it means for the cement industry.

Across our value chain, we drive communication and innovation to lower the climate impact of our products and services, and prior to the launch of lower CO2 cements we send materials to every customer and specifier in the region to ensure our stakeholders stay informed on our product innovation climate strategy
