Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]LG U+ monitors all climate change-related matters, such as risks and opportunities caused by climate change, energy and greenhouse gas emissions, greenhouse gas reduction activities, and greenhouse gas goals, and receives decisions through CRO or CEO when issues or opportunities arise. In addition, the importance of climate change is quite high due to the creation of green businesses, strengthening green businesses, and expanding green new products, which are the three management goals approved by the CEO. LG actively carries out many activities on climate change as CRO's KPI incorporates climate change goals. Accordingly, LG U+ is also participating in climate change-related engagement activities and is striving to encourage greenhouse gas reduction activities for directly managed branches of suppliers and telecommunication companies. GHG are calculated as Scope3 emissions and managed annually, and the emissions are disclosed annually through sustainability reports and CDP. In addition, efforts are made to improve the current status of changes in greenhouse gas emissions at suppliers and telecommunication businesses by continuously monitoring and analyzing them. In order to encourage greenhouse gas reduction activities, energy diagnosis consulting, energy reduction technology cost support, and energy campaign are being conducted.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]The ESG Team monitors all matters related to climate change, including risks and opportunities arising from climate change, the status of energy and greenhouse gas emissions, greenhouse gas reduction activities, and the achievement of greenhouse gas targets, and when issues or opportunities arise, the CEO and the ESG Committee make decisions and implement responses. In addition, the three management goals approved by the CEO, which are creating a green workplace, strengthening green business, and expanding green new products, attach considerable importance to climate change, and the CRO's KPIs also reflect climate change-related goals, so we are actively implementing many activities on climate change.
