Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]The Recticel sustainability strategy is part of the business strategy. It provides an overarching vision of our ambitions, KPIs and targets. We have reviewed our strategy and roadmap in 2020 with engagement from internal and external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, trade associations, authorities, knowledge institutes. It was formally approved by Recticel's Management Committee and Board of Directors and published in the 2020 annual report.
The members of the Management Committee drive the sustainability strategy in their organisations. They are responsible for their business line's or function's strategic R&D initiatives. They assess the impact on business level for instance for Operations, Commercial, Financial, and escalate the risks and opportunities having an impact on company level to the Management Committee.
The business line and functional management teams report into the General Manager/Functional Head. They bring their expertise and insight in business and climate-related risks and opportunities to the monthly Leadership team meetings.
This formalized reporting ensures that all initiatives that are undertaken to directly or indirectly influence policy are aligned with Recticel's guiding principles. Recticel is an active member of trade associations of which it is either member of the Board and/or Chairman and/or member of Work Groups.
