The Company has a Sustainability and CSR committee (SCSR) of the Board which reviews the progress and provides guidance and direction from a global perspective. CEAT also has a cross functional ESG Council, led by the Head of Procurement, and which has representation from the key functional in charges such as EHS, Human Resource Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary. The ESG Council plays a vital role in strategy formulation and project monitoring, focusing on green products, supply chain sustainability, resource and energy efficiency, emission reduction, water management, policy framing, diversity and circular economy.
