Attach commitment or position statement(s)[…]We are members of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and we reference targets aligned with 1.5º, though we do not explicitly refer to the Paris Agreement in our public reports. In the course of our business, Paramount leaders often meet with public officials in a host of countries to educate and advocate on issues that affect our company and our stakeholders. A few policy areas where we often focus are intellectual property (IP), copyright, taxation, and tax credit policies, along with some foreign trade issues. In addition, our Global Public Policy and Government Relations team will often interact with global and U.S.-based regulators like The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and The Federal Trade Commission. We may also engage with elected officials directly, or through industry associations such as the Motion Picture Association of America, NCTA – The Internet & Television Association, and the National Association of Broadcasters.
