Solaria's environmental policy is based on a strategy of integrated management that goes far beyond compliance with regulation. The Company's Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for its management, updating and compliance. In this sense, the board created in 2020 an ethics, compliance and ESG commission to oversee the deployment of the Company's sustainability strategy as well as matters related to climate change and protection of the environment. The commission also supervises the degree of compliance with established objectives, revision and updating of the risks and established controls and all other relevant matters in this regard. At the internal level, the steering committee and the ethics, compliance and ESG committee are in charge of supervising and reporting to the commission all issues that have to do with the sustainability strategy and with matters related to climate change and the environment. To this end, they count on the collaboration of all the Company's departments, especially in the area of environmental issues.

In 2020, Solaria maintained its efforts to improve and strengthen its governance model, bolstering the Company's regulatory framework, in line with its ESG strategy, and adapting its governing bodies in this sense. [...] New developments in 2020 include further adaptation of Solaria's governance model to the ESG strategy it has reinforced in recent years. Last year also saw the creation of an ethics, compliance and ESG commission that, by delegation of the Board of Directors, is in charge of the supervision and management of all pertinent matters and works with the assistance of the ethics, compliance and ESG committee. [...] To this end, Solaria also established internal bodies, regulations and tools that are necessary to implement and oversee the policies. As a result, the internal control of the effective application of policies on environment, social concerns and good governance corresponds to the ethics, compliance and ESG committee, which is also in charge of promoting, monitoring and periodically revising the alignment of challenges associated with the Company's activity and its strategy of sustainability. The ethics, compliance and ESG committee is in charge of reporting periodically or when necessary to the ethics, compliance and ESG commission or directly to the Board of Directors the occurrence of any such matters of a significant nature.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]Making a rapid transition to a decarbonised economy is a global priority. Spain must take advantage of this situation to maximise the economic opportunities offered by this paradigm shift. And, in this sense, Solaria is an allied company to achieve this goal. Solaria is therefore joining different associations to contribute to the green transition, to help generate consensus and to contribute to the regulatory, political and scientific roadmaps.
