# from stakeholder engagement to stakeholder management

## We work for our stakeholders, and so we ask them how we can do better

Initially, the Engagement of our Stakeholders was mainly aimed at drawing up the materiality matrix. Today, however, with the evolution towards stakeholder management, we want to forge an inclusive dialogue together with our main stakeholders, seeking to create synergies and identify initiatives and projects that respond to the need to implement sustainability within the entire sector.

Stakeholder Management is therefore a circular process for which the results of the engagement activities are used as input to develop the management of the relationships from a point of view of continuous improvement, which on the one hand makes it possible to anticipate different types of risks (ranging from reputational to operational risks), and on the other to transform threats into opportunities through the joint identification of solutions that create shared value for the organisation and for its stakeholders.

To build a dialogue with our stakeholders and raise awareness of the strategies we implement in the sector in which we operate in compliance with environmental, social and ESG issues, ENAV has created the first Sustainability Newsletter dedicated to members of our community (information Sustainability Newsletter LINK)

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]ENAV's attention to the civil aviation community is not substantiated only through the services offered, but also through collaboration and participation in the activities of bodies and institutions national and international.

In Europe, ENAV plays an active role through participation in cooperation agreements, partnerships and multilateral programs and is an integral part of initiatives aimed at achieving the Single European Sky promoted by the European Commission and implemented through EASA, EUROCONTROL
and by other community bodies and organizations. Through this active participation ENAV can include in its organization all the outcomes from these engaments that in most cases are directly driven by ENAV. All these initiatives have also a particular focuson the environment issues and climate change related aspect.

At the international level, we actively participate in ICAO's climate change initiatives, in accordance with the UN autonomous agency's long-term commitments.
