Gen Digital has adopted a formal policy governing its political activities, as the Board "has adopted a formal policy regarding political activities, political disclosure and accountability" that outlines standards for "participating in the political process" and "appropriate disclosure and reporting of political contributions and political activities." Oversight and compliance with this policy are assigned to the "Chief Legal Officer and the Government Affairs team" who "monitors compliance with the Company's policy on political contributions" and oversee all of the Company's engagements, including working "with local, national, and international policymakers" and through "business and trade organizations." However, we found no evidence of any mechanisms to align lobbying - direct or via associations - with climate-related policy, nor does the company disclose any climate-specific lobbying reviews or alignment procedures.
