Our Group Risk Committee seeks to cover short- to medium- term strategic risks as well as any significant risks arising from the four Regional Risk Committees' risk registers. Through an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach, the Group Risk Committee uses a four-step process to ensure that material risks, including climate-related risks, are effectively managed and monitored. This process incorporates oversight from and reporting to the GMB. More information of the risk management process can be found in the "Risk Management" section of this report. [...] Our Group Sustainability Committee, chaired by the Global CSO, meets four times a year to monitor and evaluate our progress against our 2030 Sustainability Strategy and any material climate-related risks and opportunities. The committee comprises of eight members with diverse expertise and regional backgrounds and provides progress updates to the BoD twice a year. In 2024, the GSC finalized our 2030 Sustainability Strategy, which includes action plans and KPIs around Climate Action and other material issues for the Group.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Policy and stakeholder engagement is a key part of dentsu international's global strategy and is governed by the Social Impact Steering Committee. The Chief Communications and Marketing officer sits on the Social Impact Steering Committee and works in close collaboration with the Chief Sustainability Officer and Global Policy and Advocacy Director to ensure all direct and indirect activity that influences policy is consistent with our overall climate change strategy.

We ensure our engagement activities are consistent with our overall climate change strategy across our business divisions and geographies with:

Specifically, the trade associations we work with all have specific climate-related initiatives that promote Net Zero. We are founding members of the Responsible Media Forum, a member of the Ad Net Zero Steering group (Advertising Association), and delegates on the Media Futures Group (UK Institute of Practitioners in Advertising). Our direct and indirect engagement activities with these groups are inherently consistent with our climate strategy because the initiatives in place are all aligned to a 1.5°C world. Dentsu International's Global Environmental Policy sets out criteria for all our employees and entities, including new acquisitions, to align with our climate strategy. This central document ensures dentsu complies with environmental legislation and engages with stakeholders consistently across business divisions and geographies.

Similarly, the Supplier Code of Conduct references our climate strategy and helps to ensure alignment across the supply base. For clients, model RFP documents are provided to ensure that messaging for clients is consistent across the business.
